4th Annual Hope Walk Building New Futures for Veterans, One Step at a Time A solidarity walk to raise awareness and funds for the Veterans we serve. Volunteers of America of Illinois currently serves over 500 Veterans and Veteran families who are at risk of homelessness or in serious risk of instability. Hope Walk begins promptly at 10:30 a.m. at Hope Manor I, 3053 W. Franklin Blvd., Chicago We will have an opening ceremony, food, music and a friendly Veteran vs. Civilian game. We hope to see you there! Event Schedule 9:45 a.m.-10:15 a.m.- check-in 10:15 a.m.-10:30 a.m.- light continental breakfast available 10:30 a.m.- opening ceremony followed by Hope Walk 11:30 a.m.- Veteran vs. Civilian game 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.- Lunch 1:00 p.m.- end of event
*Hope Walk is stroller and leashed-dog friendly! *Your registration fee includes: food, Hope Walk t-shirt and a donation to support Volunteers of America of Illinois' Veterans programs.
